Nature & Feng Shui Lecture at SUNY Stony Brook Earthstock 2011

Feng Shui expert and lecturer Maureen K. Calamia will present “Why Plants Make us Feel Good” at the 2011 SUNY Stony Brook Earthstock event. The event will be held Thursday, April 28th at the Student Activities Center (SAC) on the main campus.
April 7, 2011 - PRLog -- “Research proves that its not just plants, but elements of the natural world that has a significant impact on our well-being,” says Ms. Calamia. In this one-hour lecture, you’ll learn about biophilia (our inherent need to connect with nature) and how the concepts of Feng Shui, biophilic design, and building biology helps us create environments that are not only eco-friendly, but human friendly on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.

After studying Feng Shui for several years, Ms. Calamia has integrated principles of biophilic design that is a more modern expression of the ancient discipline of Feng Shui. She is also writing a book about Feng Shui and biophilic design to be published in 2012.
