Ted Brooks announces Trial Consulting Network
Monica Bay, of Law Technology News, first broke the news late Monday, April 4, 2011, in her Daily Commentary column. A great deal of positive feedback and interest have followed the announcement of this new venture - something that is long overdue.
"We are already in a position to compete with the largest companies on matters of any size, and in multiple locations. Although we haven't even officially started marketing yet, we've already brought in our first case referral," says Brooks. Trial Consulting Network is also currently being considered for trial prep and presentation services in one of the largest matters in recent history.
Among the initial 25 companies participating are Z-Axis of Colorado, Arkansas' Litigation Resource Group, and Precise of Pittsburgh, Pa. Most of the consultancies range in size from three to 15 trial technicians, says Brooks.
Brooks is featured in the April edition of LTN, in our Technology on Trial column, "Frank McCourt Strikes Out," discussing how Jamie McCourt's litigation support team used inData's TrialDirector presentation software to highlight key documents in the high-profile divorce case that may determine who owns the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. Brooks also recently wrote about iPad apps for trial presentation.
Monica Bay is editor-in-chief of Law Technology News magazine, and a member of the California bar.
