April 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Lights. . . Camera. . . Action!  This May, on the much dreaded Friday the 13th, Crespi’s great artistic minds are coming together in order to show their mystifying works of art based around the theme of the “Day of Bad Luck”.

Last year, “The international student film festival was a satisfying success, spotlighting the future filmmakers of the world,” said Mr. Nyahay, the media teacher at Crespi. The film festival at Crespi is when aspiring student filmmakers show the work they do inside as well as outside of school. They are all original student productions.

The success of the film festival last year can be attributed to two young filmmakers, Tyler Robinson and Mick Wood. These two film powerhouses were accepted and are currently attending USC Film School and Los Angeles Film School, respectively. This year, expect to see two more aspiring filmmakers spotlighted, Daniel Andrews and Ben Schaeffels.

There is no doubt the prestige of artists that come out of our Crespi and the area will leave audiences speechless. Crespi will host this years’ International Student Film Festival in the Alumni Memorial Gym on May 13, 2011, from 6-10 pm.  This is one freaky Friday event that Los Angeles will be sure to remember.
