Welcome to the second issue of R3 Magazine: (Renew+Recycle+Resource)

April 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Plans for more and more industries to move away from their reliance on fossil fuels, and for individual companies to try and reduce their carbon footprint go on apace. It’s heartening to know how many are taking the threat to our precious planet seriously, and to discover the lengths they’ll go to in order to do something about it. With latest estimates showing the global population expected to top nine billion by 2045, it’s not a moment too soon.

Revised legislation on the Government’s RHI Scheme is about to come into force as we go to press, so this month we’re taking a timely look at what it means to company’s that want to get involved.

Heat pumps are big news at the moment, but you need to know what will work best. Do you plump for something that draws heat from underground or are water or air models more suitable for your needs? We sent the intrepid Emma Cant to investigate.

This month, our resident expert, Terry Nash, of UK Sustainable Development Association has taken time out to explain the benefits of establishing full understanding of legislation as quickly as possible.
