Science Warehouse celebrates IT award win

April 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Leeds-based Science Warehouse, one of the fastest growing companies in the e-business sector, is celebrating success after picking up the IT Efficiency Award at Insider Media’s 11th Yorkshire Digital & Technology Awards.

The team came out on top in the IT Efficiency category, fending off strong competition from businesses across Yorkshire’s digital and technology sector.  The awards set out to recognise companies in Yorkshire and the Humber that can demonstrate excellence in the internet industry whether it is web design, an interactive stroke of genius or a state-of-the-art web-based solution.

Commenting on the entry, the Insider judges said Science Warehouse provided an “interesting, cloud-based procurement solution that allows companies to have an internal procurement catalogue.” They added, “this may not sound sexy, but it is something that is helping universities and other organisations to streamline their procurement and save time and money.”

The latest award tops off a great 12 months for Science Warehouse, which has seen the company expand its team, relocate to larger premises and win a plethora of new contracts.
