By: Ella Bee PR On Friday April 1st, Hastings won first place in the Women’s open 200-meter invite and set one of the world-leading times in the 200-meter at 22.77. On Saturday April 2nd, Hastings had first place wins in the 4x100-meter relay race, the 4x200-meter relay race and the 4x400-meter relay race with Marshevet Myers, Bianca Knight and Lauryn Williams known as the Speed Divas. Here are Natasha Hastings' complete final results from the Pepsi Florida Relays as recorded by Delta Timing Group: · Women’s 200-meter dash invite- 1st place (Set one of the world-leading times at 22.77). · Women’s 4x100-meter relay race-1st place with the Speed Divas 42.75 (New Florida Relays record). · Women’s 4x200-meter relay-1st place with the Speed Diva 1:31.02. · Women’s 4x400-meter relay-1st place with the Speed Divas 3:39.67. Natasha began her track career at a very early age and made a first place win at the USATF Junior Olympics in the 400m in the Youth Girls division. Moving on to her college career at the University of South Carolina, Natasha started to become known as the “400M Diva” as 2007 was considered her breakout year. Natasha went home to New York for the New Balance Collegiate Invitational and won the 400m in 51.70, a personal record at the time, and anchored the 4×400m to a win with the fastest collegiate time for the year. Also in 2007, she won the SEC Championships by running a 51.63. Natasha went on to the NCAA Championship and her time in the 400m at 50.15 was the second fastest time ever on the collegiate level and she had successfully competed undefeated all season becoming the Indoor and Outdoor 400M champion. In 2008, Natasha won an Olympic Gold Medal in the Women’s 4×400M relay team by running a 49.87 split. Most recently, she won first place in the 400M dash at the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships running a world-leading time of 50.83.
