New Workshop from In Demand Coaching - Improve Your Communication to Improve Your Life

Communication, a piece of cake you say? After all, we do it every day from the time we get up until the time we lay back down at night. It's just taking a thought and choosing words to express that thought. Or is it?

March 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Communication, in fact, is quite complex and it's a skill we often take for granted.  Sure we're taught to read, right and speak but where do we learn to actually communicate?

I am sure that most people reading this have had the very frustrating experience of being in a group discussion where everyone left  in total agreement with everyone else, usually demonstrated by a nod of the head, a verbal agreement or a vote only to find out later on that there may have been agreement but a total lack of mutual understanding.  Frustrating isn't it?  Or, have you ever been speaking with someone, business or personal, when they suddenly get very defensive or otherwise emotionally charged and you just can't figure out what's going on?  Here's another good one, have you ever heard or muttered the so oft heard phrase "You never said that!", followed by the oh so useless "he said she said" dialogue.  Or, if you have have ever felt::

   Your words are regularly misunderstood.
Your emotions are not being considered.
   You are not being heard.
   You're not being taken seriously
   You're not being listened to.
You're conversations are filled with drama.

Please join me for an experiential workshop, where you  will learn some great tools and methods and have fun in the process.

You Will Learn?

   Why communication is difficult
   The importance of building trust
What happens when we act on assumptions
How to be understood rather than heard
What to do when conflict arises
How to create your desired outcome

Relationships don't just happen; they take focus, awareness and solid communication. I am very much looking forward to the opportunity to help you improve the quality of your life and relationships by understanding the value of effective communication.
