MEGA selects Public Entity Solutions and PEPIP for re-insurance needs of membership

WAKEFIELD, MA, ISSUED MARCH 29, 2011…MEGA (Massachusetts Education & Government Association Property & Casualty Group, Inc.), a self-insurance group for public entities in Massachusetts, today announced that it has selected a new provider for property reinsurance for its members, effective April 1.

Katherine Camire, Managing Director of MEGA, said that the Wakefield-based organization has selected the Chicago-based Alliant Insurance’s Public Entity Property Insurance Program (PEPIP) to provide property reinsurance to the MEGA membership. PEPIP was selected by MEGA’s Board after a thorough review of a number of options provided from many of the world’s top property markets.
