Inpatient Management, Inc. To Provide Hospitalist Services in East Liverpool

March 30, 2011 - PRLog -- ST. LOUIS (March 2011) — Inpatient Management, Inc. (IMI) has been selected to provide hospitalist services at East Liverpool City Hospital (ELCH) in East Liverpool, Ohio.  The contract is for the IMI 360 program, a comprehensive program of hospital medicine including full program management, IMI-employed staff, Dyad Leadership and comprehensive metrics, reporting and accountability.

This program has been selected to assist local physicians who do not currently admit patients directly to our hospital.  More importantly, this will help local residents receive care right here at home.”

East Liverpool City Hospital is an acute care hospital that has not had a hospitalist program prior to the agreement with IMI. With nearly 150 beds and 90 on-staff physicians and mid-level providers, ELCH serves communities in the greater Ohio-Pennsylvania-West Virginia tri-state area.

The IMI hospital medicine program for ELCH will employ a physician director, 2.5 physician full-time-equivalent positions initially and a nurse director.  IMI’s Dyad Leadership model consists of the physician director and the nurse director working in tandem to address clinical goals and administrative requirements that will result in outstanding performance.  As anticipated goals are met, further expansion of the staff will follow.
