LAUNCHPAD for Fashion Business StartUps

Following on the British Governments’ launch of the StartUp Britain! campaign, 28 March 2011, The Brighton & Hove Business Spring 2011 Show, now staging its sixth Business 2 Business Show, has offered an astonishing 12 start up and fledgling businesses, an extraordinary launch pad on Thursday 7 April 2011, with prime expo space, at this extremely popular and growing business event; a busy networking day organised for hundreds of Sussex businesses.

During the previous three years, the Show has provided exhibition space, for more than 15 Sussex based young companies including fashion related and creative industries. These new young fledgling businesses are still thriving and growing, year-on-year, which have included a Hove based fashion e’tailer who has developed internationally, having had  much press coverage and a Brighton fashion model agency, who has secured enviable London Fashion Week modelling supply contracts, and various fashion support services, such as young fashion photography companies and fashion website designers.

As a new media, digital city, a creative industries city; a special tourist destination and conference and events city; the Show organisers asked the popular BBC Dragons’ Den film production team, to return to the Spring Business 2011 Show, to help them with such an extraordinary demand of entrepreneurial spirit and talent.
