March 30, 2011 - PRLog -- The Black Blingaz are fast becoming a hurricane force in dancehall culture. The group, MIGZ and John, Pink, Marlon, Cris and German Bling, grew up together in Spanish Town, the former Spanish and English capitol of Jamaica. The Blingaz have danced together for as long as they can remember. The name 'Black Blingaz' represents their style and fierce dance techniques, which has caused them to gain massive popularity through Passa Passa and the countless videos they have performed in.
In fact, the Black Blingaz are known for never wearing the same outfit twice! When it comes to fashion, The Blingaz are true sneaker heads, sporting a different pair every day. Marlon Pink stated to Hot Stepz Magazine, “it’s not the name on the label it’s what is hot that’s important.”
The Black Blingaz describe their look as 'fresh and clean', adding a little Goth and punk Rock fashion sense with the Reggae attitude and appeal. Black Blingaz strive to represent the cutting edge in fashion when they are on the road, often sporting chains (like the Danchall Legend Bogle did). Black Blingaz came to Boston to Hot Stepz Magazine’s Celebrity release party, featuring Famous Yute, Lis No Mannerz, Donnaray Lawrence of Dancerz BLVD and music by Krazy Energy Sound, The Khris Miller band and Feedback. Some of the names on the guest list were, DJ Ill Neil, Producer Joey P (Jay Z, Ludacris, CeeLo)) Ambition, MC Spice, DJ Kwyet Storm and DJ Kajeel!
For Black Bingaz, Bling is not worn, it’s what you achieve. When it comes to dance, Blingaz are like Fort Knox Solid Gold! Marlon Bling stated it best when he said, “Bling is what we want to achieve, and the black is a symbol of our race."
Currently the Black Blingaz are creating a T-shirt Line repping their Unique style called “Black Dem Out.” Black Blingaz are the creators of the popular dances Ever Fresh Ever Clean, Ca’n Tired, Tek Weh Yuself, Black Dem Out, and Scissors, Just to name a few.
