March 30, 2011 - PRLog -- This 'ehandbook' is derived from the author's personal experiences as a willing user of Windows and an equally willing user of the iPhone and of the iPad but an ever more unwilling user of iTunes and Apple's apparent philosophy (of "Apple Knows What Is Best For You (Not You)"). His experiences have thrown up issues and problems which he has found difficult to solve or even to understand, in spite of spending much time researching possible solutions as well as using Apple's own resources, the Internet and various books.

A key aspect within this is understanding how Apple sees its iTunes Store as a huge distribution hub for selling digital content. You may think your iPhone or Pad (or iPod or even Apple TV) are the center of your universe but you will discover that these are not regarded by Apple as self-standing or self-supporting devices but 'merely' as users of its digital warehouse.

The ehandbook also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of “going beyond iTunes“ where you decide if you wish to break out of Apple's constraints by 'jailbreaking' your iPhone and/or iPad.
