March 29, 2011 - PRLog -- USA (March 29, 2011) – Social Media community #Tweetdiner led by Margie Clayman and Stanford Smith  has committed to raise funds and create awareness for the families and victims affected by the earthquake in Japan. This caring group is known for taking action when called upon.
On April 2-9 They will be holding an online chat using hashtag #care4japan. This event was created to raise awareness about Japan's continuing woes and also to help raise funds via a donation link from the Care4Japan website to the American Red Cross.
Chat will be organized by topics and questions. Throughout the week we will be holding trivia moments with fun and prizes for those who participate.  Some of our sponsors are: Jay Baer (@jaybaer) and Amber Naslund (@ambercadabra) Chris Brogan (@chrisbrogan) Ann Handley (@marketingprofs)  and CC Chapman (@cc_chapman).

Volunteers have joined together to create a website at www.care4japan.org  and Facebook page at  www.facebook.com/Care4Japan  Please visit this links and make your donation.

Please join us and participate in a weeklong chat to call attention to the plight of earthquake victims in Japan. We have been moved by the stories of sacrifice and suffering, concerned by the diminished response to a great need. Our goal is to raise awareness for the plight of the victims and funds via the Red Cross.
