-- OnPoint Community Credit Union recently announced the election of Len Schulwitz as chairman of the credit union’s board of directors. Schulwitz succeeds Steve Gray who served on OnPoint’s board of directors since 1989.
Schulwitz is a certified public accountant and former marketing director at Intel and brings more than 35 years of business and financial experience to OnPoint’s board. Schulwitz completed National Credit Union Administration courses covering strategic, financial and regulatory topics to prepare for this chairman role. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and serves as both treasurer and board member of the Harvard Club of Oregon.
“Len’s leadership and financial insights will be a great asset in guiding the efforts of our board and in supporting OnPoint’s growth plans for the future,” said OnPoint’s President and CEO Rob Stuart.
Schulwitz is now retired and volunteers full-time with AARP Tax-Aide, an organization that provides free tax assistance to the elderly and low income families. He also volunteers with local programs that support at-risk youth, disaster relief and the homeless.
