Value and reliability provide business boost for car supermarket

March 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Customer requests for more affordable transport is providing a business boost to a north east car supermarket. Newcastle upon Tyne based Henson Motor Group introduced the Part Exchange Runabout scheme in December 2010 and has sold over fifty cars to date.

Part Exchange Runabout offers cars from £1,000, all with tax and MOT, full pre-delivery inspection, hire purchase information (HPI) check and seven days free insurance.

Until the introduction of Part Exchange Runabout, Henson Motor Group had sold cars with a minimum value of £3,000. The scheme was introduced in response to customer feedback which indicated that many people were looking for a cheap, reliable car to get them to and from work, but also wanted the backing of a car dealership which meant the cars were in top mechanical condition.

Ten years ago a car that had covered 100,000 miles was considered ‘high mileage’, but with regular servicing and our pre delivery inspection there is no reason why such a car should not give many more years reliable service. Traditionally part exchange cars below a certain value have simply been sent to auction, but many of these cars are too good to auction. Now, with our Part Exchange Runabout scheme they can provide value and reliability to our customers”.
