March 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Gilbert, AZ -- The east Valley’s newest master-planned community, Adora Trails, is holding a block party on April 2 to celebrate the groundbreaking of its new clubhouse and community park.

Already the largest community ever built by Taylor Morrison in Arizona, Adora Trails is adding a 4,000 square-foot clubhouse and 10-acre park to the mix. On Saturday, April 2, Taylor Morrison and Town of Gilbert officials will break ground on the community’s centerpiece amenities as Valley residents enjoy a bevy of special events.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with barbeque from Joe’s BBQ, mobile video gaming for the kids and NCAA Final Four action on big screen televisions, homebuyers can preview the new clubhouse, register for a chance to win a stay-cation at the Arizona Grand Resort and attempt to make a basket for a Kinect for Xbox 360.

Adora Trails is located on Riggs Road between Val Vista and Higley roads, just minutes from three Valley freeways – Loop 101, Loop 202 and the U.S. 60.

With prices starting in the $140,000s and homes ranging from 1,328 to 3,543 square feet, the community has been popular with Valley homebuyers since opening and recently welcomed its first family, the Avrens.

“Here, we were able to find a home that fit our lifestyle,” said Wayne Avren. “The school is literally 400 yards from our front door. To have things like a school, a park and a lake in our community was important. Adora Trails really feels like a community, not just a subdivision.”

Adora Trails is comprised of almost 1,900 Gilbert home sites strategically placed within a community that boasts a dozen miles of walking trails, on-site Chandler Unified School District elementary school, a two-acre fishing lake as well as the new clubhouse and 10-acre park.

“We’ve put a lot of energy and planning into making sure Adora Trails fits the needs of today’s family,” said Pierrette Tierney, vice president of Taylor Morrison’s Arizona division.
