Using an iTunes Gift Card on a Computer
1.Run iTunes on your PC or Mac. Click the "iTunes Store" link on the left side of the window and click "Sign In." Enter your email address and iTunes Store password. If you do not have iTunes installed on your computer, download it from the Apple website and create an account by following the instructions in the software.
2.Click "Redeem" under "Quick Links" on the left side of the window.
3.Click inside the text field under "Redeem Code" and type the 16-character code on the back of the iTunes gift card, above the bar code. If the code is covered by a silver bar, scratch the bar away with a coin.
4.Click the "Redeem" button. All future iTunes gift card online purchases draw from the gift card's available funds until you have used the full amount.

Using an iTunes Gift Card on an iOS Device
1.Push the Home button on your iOS device, and then tap the "iTunes" or "App Store" icon.
2.Tap the "Music" button on the bottom of the screen in the iTunes Music Store, or tap the "Featured" button in the iTunes App Store.
3.Swipe your finger across the screen to scroll down and tap "Redeem."
4.Tap inside the text field and enter the 12-character code from the back of your iTunes gift card. If the code is covered by a silver bar, scratch the bar away with a coin.
5.Tap the "Redeem" button. All future iTune gift card purchases draw from the gift card's available funds until you have used the full amount.
