Georgia Alliance For Aesthetic Professionals Announces Its First Crystal Awards Gala

March 25, 2011 - PRLog -- GAAP will hold its first Crystal Awards Gala on April 2 to recognize extraordinary aesthetic professionals.

Aesthetic professionals who have effectively lead by example, stimulated the economy, educated and given back to their communities have been nominated and will be awarded for their accomplishments during the gala.

Nominees include Madame J. Walker, Roza Leon, Traci Daly and Elaine Sterling among those being recognized for being exceptional educators and mentors within the aesthetics field.

Institut’ DERMed Clinical Skincare founder and President Lyn Ross will be recognized for her community outreach and philanthropy work in Atlanta. Lyn Ross is a master esthetician, international educator, med spa owner and published author. With more than 25 years of in-clinic esthetic experience, Lyn is dedicated to sharing her knowledge. A true medical spa pioneer, she has published numerous industry articles and has appeared on radio and television shows highlighting professional skin care.

The gala will also feature guest speaker Skot Waldron who will discuss how the power of a brand can make or break your business, and keeping your brand fresh and likable.  Waldron is a graduate of the Portfolio Center in Atlanta and knows how important branding is when you are marketing yourself as an individual or a as a company.
