Gahanna's Oldest Optometry Practice Has New Faces and New Look For 2011

Gahanna Vision Center, a multi-specialty eye care facility, is located at 159 N High St in Gahanna.  Founded by Dr. Douglas Dachenbach, the practice has been a community staple since opening its doors, and has provided quality eye care and eyewear to families of Gahanna since 1967.

Dr. Craig D Miller took over operations of Gahanna Vision Center in November 2010.  Dr. Miller provides full scope optometry by offering services such as; The Lifestyle Eye Exam, Contact Lens Exams, the GVC Kid’s Eye Exam, LASIK management, and the treatment and management of eye conditions such as, Glaucoma, Cataract, Diabetes, Macular Degeneration, and Eye Emergencies.

Dr. Miller received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA in 2004.  While in school, Dr. Miller was fortunate enough to provide eye care to thousands on a student optometric humanitarian effort in La Gloria, Mexico.  Dr. Miller interned at the Malcom-Randell VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL, Visual Health Surgical Center in Lake Worth, FL, and Eye Care Associates in Raleigh, NC before returning to Ohio.

As a firm believer of the medical-model of eye care, Dr. Miller completed his residency in Ocular Disease in 2005 with Eye Specialist of Ohio.  There he practiced with leading specialist in the fields of Glaucoma, Cataract, Diabetes, and Macular Degeneration.

Before joining the team at Gahanna Vision Center, Dr. Miller provided eye care to the greater East Columbus community at Rinkov Eyecare Center in Reynoldsburg.

Embracing the traditions of Gahanna and Gahanna Vision Center, Dr. Miller is focused on keeping Gahanna Vision Center an eye care facility for the community of Gahanna.  He has worked with many local businesses to provide eye care to local employees as well as local day care facilities.
