Anniversary treat for golden couple

March 24, 2011 - PRLog -- The couple, from Yeovil, have been through the Bakers Dolphin brochure from cover to cover taking a trip a month for the past ten years.

The veteran travellers have notched up thousands of miles with the Weston-super-Mare based company, and were delighted when family members surprised them on their latest jaunt to the Manchester Ship Canal.

Retired Jean and John, who have toured extensively in Holland, Switzerland and Austria as well as every corner of Britain with Bakers Dolphin, said they loved the friendly, door to door service and took advantage of all the company’s special offers.

Jean said: “They always do something different on the trips and we pick the most interesting ones. The more trips we take the more money we save. It certainly stops us getting bored.”

The only thing missing from the couple’s 50th anniversary celebration was the famous Bakers Dolphin Gold Coach, but the couple have used the luxury service in the past.

“We love the seats and the extra legroom, and the lounge where you can relax at the back.”

The couple’s next tour will be to Holland for a look at the bulb fields and delightful canals.
 
Bakers Dolphin sales and marketing director Amanda Harrington said the company had been delighted the couple had enjoyed their Golden Wedding Anniversary party so much.
