NBC New York's Demarco Morgan Joins Morgan Stanley, Jose Cuervo & Creme Magazine At Rebirth!2011

March 24, 2011 - PRLog -- New York, NEW YORK—The New York Urban League Young Professionals (NYULYP) have teamed up with investment giant, Morgan Stanley, Tequila powerhouse, Jose Cuervo, and Crème Magazine--the premier online magazine for the young and affluent—to bring you Rebirth! 2011 and usher in a renaissance with special host, NBC New York’s De Marco Morgan for “The Rebirth of Cool” on March 29th, 2011. Rebirth! 2011, the New York Urban League Young Professional’s Harlem Renaissance–themed annual fundraising soiree will commence at Greenhouse, located at 150 Varick
Street from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.

The evening’s festivities will be hosted by NBC New York’s DeMarco Morgan. Guests will enjoy an open bar sponsored by Jose Cuervo along with passed hors d'oeuvres. Guests will mingle and network with a wide range of decision makers, tastemakers, and trendsetters from the worlds of entertainment, fashion, sports, and politics, the arts, academia, and corporate America. The event will also celebrate the Rhythm and Rhyme of the Harlem Renaissance by showcasing exciting vocal and spoken word artists of today who embody the legends of yesterday. Host committee members and celebrity publicist BJ Coleman, marketing and branding consulting firm, The Dunlap Group, and Shane & Shawn Detny of Shane & Shawn Shoes are also lending their support.

Proceeds from Rebirth 2011! benefit NYULYP’s annual backpack drive for low-income families and the "Emerging Leaders" scholarship for high school seniors who excel academically, and demonstrate a commitment to community service.
