March 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA  –  Corporate management with Stars & Strikes Family Entertainment Centers, LLC (www.starsandstrikes.com) – a privately-owned, Atlanta-based family entertainment company - today announced a fourth metro-Atlanta location of the popular family entertainment concept will open in Stone Mountain/Tucker in early summer 2011.

With an investment of more than $2.3 million and plans to bring more than 120+ jobs to the DeKalb County community, Stars and Strikes co-founder/owner Chris Albano is certain that DeKalb County is the ideal location to grow this popular family-friendly, community-centered concept. Stars and Strikes will feature bowling, a state of the art arcade with lazer tag, bumper cars and over 7,000 sq feet of video games, a full service restaurant and group event rooms.

“It is such a thrill to bring an exciting family entertainment brand like Stars and Strikes to the families of Stone Mountain/Tucker and surrounding areas,” said Albano. “We are confident that DeKalb County is the perfect compliment to our company’s mission and strategy of growing the family entertainment concept across the northern arc of metro-Atlanta offering affordable entertainment for guests of all ages.”

Located two miles outside the Perimeter, off I-285 at Hwy 78/Mountain Industrial Boulevard, the fourth Stars and Strikes location in Stone Mountain/Tucker includes a 50,000 square-foot virtual indoor playground for all that will feature:

•   (24) state-of-the-art bowling lanes;
•   2-story, 4,000 square-foot mega lazer tag arena;
•   a 7,000 square-foot massive gaming arcade with indoor bumper cars, balladium (a foam ball air canon attraction) and the industry’s most popular and latest arcade games;
•   a 2,500 square-foot corporate events/meeting room facility with capacity to seat 250+ people with video projectors and wi-fi.
•   In-house catering staff and full-time chef featuring Italian, Mexican, seafood and All American menu options;
•   a  full-service restaurant and bar known as the “Coaches Corner Sports Bar & Grille”
•   Private birthday party rooms featuring the best children’s birthday parties in Atlanta;

Families were first introduced to the unique brand of family fun and entertainment in July 2005 when the first Stars and Strikes location opened in Forsyth County in Cumming, GA. Two additional locations of the popular family and community-centered concept quickly followed with the opening of Stars and Strikes in Gwinnett County in Dacula, GA followed by the third Stars and Strikes location that opened in Paulding County in Dallas, GA.

Each Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center is locally owned and operated and employs hundreds of dedicated employees across the metro Atlanta area. The concept was founded by Alpharetta neighbors, Chris Albano and Jack Canouse, who recognized that many communities lacked a safe, family-friendly entertainment destination.

From the very beginning, the company’s core mission centered on offering customers much more than ‘just a bowling alley’. With a philosophy centered on fun, and a deep commitment to provide exceptional customer service, cleanliness and safety for their customers, Stars and Strikes has truly redefined the way families, churches, schools, and groups of all types enjoy quality time together. It’s an affordable, fun, family-centric atmosphere with great entertainment and amazing food, an outcome greatly appreciated by the groups the centers serve.

Stars and Strikes is committed to giving back to the communities they serve. The company hosts over 25 fundraising events per year at each of their facilities. Stars and Strikes employees are directly involved in fundraising and donate their time to an annual Christmas party held for foster children in each market.

While families and community groups are the obvious target market for Stars and Strikes, co-founder, Chris Albano points to the corporate audience as one of the groups most likely to benefit from the latest center opening in Stone Mountain/Tucker.

“One of the most exciting aspects of this newest Stars and Strikes location opening in Stone Mountain/Tucker this summer is our 2,500 square-foot corporate event room that can accommodate large groups and meetings or corporate audiences of up to 250+ people,” Albano added. “This private meeting space is ideal for team-building workshops, off-site corporate meetings and large banquets. Once business is done, the fun begins. We offer our corporate customers the unique opportunity to combine work and play with an emphasis on exceptional food, fun and service. Our staff will coordinate all activities, teambuilding competitions and food service.”
