March 22, 2011 - PRLog -- CHICAGO, IL - RetireCo Solutions, LLC and Active Radius, LLC have joined forces to unveil one of the most innovative online marketing tools that has ever been created for financial professionals.  Active Radius originally developed the Home Life Perks Relationship Marketing & Referral System for realtors and with the assistance of RetireCo was able to make the shift to the financial service industry.

As the exclusive marketer of this new tool, RetireCo aims to introduce the concept to insurance agents and agencies, institutions, financial advisors and other financial professionals over the course of the next several months.  “For the first time we have the opportunity to help advisors deploy automatic email newsletters, leverage social media, and provide their clients with great values through national retailers,” said Matt McGonigle, CEO of RetireCo Holdings, LLC, in a recent interview.  This is not the first time RetireCo has delivered an industry first.  At the holding company level, RetireCo has spent the last two years developing a variety of innovative platforms for both financial professionals and institutions.  More information on all of these initiatives can be found at

The Home Life Perks Relationship Marketing & Referral System as it is often referred to, helps financial professionals remain top of mind before, during, and after a sale is made to a prospective client.  It also provides these professionals with a real opportunity to tap into their existing database to generate new sales and more importantly gather new referrals.  In a recent survey conducted by NX Institutional Solutions, LLC, it was made clear amongst financial professionals that the desire for a common automated solution to email marketing, social media, and other forms of online promotion was growing indefinitely.  Clint Sheer, an insurance agent in an affluent area of upstate New York went as far as to say, “Online marketing tools are inherently necessary this day and age and advisors cannot stay competitive without implementing new systems.  With Home Life Perks I can set it up in fifteen minutes, upload my contacts, and let it take care of my next year’s worth of online marketing.”  And while McGonigle acknowledges that the set up is concise and requires next to nothing as far as computer skills, he is quick to point out that monthly interaction with the system is the desired level of interaction.  “Yes, it will run automatically and is packed full of generic content, but we encourage users to add their own comments to the monthly newsletters and post updates to their social media profiles every now and then.”

The program also allows for full customization of content on an ongoing basis, however, it is not really intended for use with financial product advertisements and solicitations.  The platform provides excellent content in e-newsletters, such as summer grilling recipes and outdoor tips paired with cash back rewards on grills at Home Depot, or a summer wine special at a local wine bar.  And while you could certainly use the system for any type of communication, financial professionals must use caution in order to remain compliant in their custom messages.  Fortunately, a bundled plan offering social media archiving is available for registered reps.  “We recommend that advisors save product solicitations for printed mailings and one-on-one meetings.  Use this system to stay in touch with clients, add a friendly note and simply provide lifestyle content relevant to the time of year,” says McGonigle.

And that content and those deals are actually quite valuable.  To date, over 600 national retailers offer cash back rewards and other incentives.  Additionally, the platform allows users to invite local merchants into the program.  “Our reps are always looking for new ways to meet local business owners and what better way than offering them a free online advertising opportunity,” says Caleb Hietpas, VP of Business Relations at RetireCo.  Once a new business is invited into the program they can complete a simple online form and start offering up to five discounts to all of the contacts of the financial professional.  This is just one more way that the Home Life Perks program helps financial professionals cultivate new relationships and further existing ones.

It would appear that RetireCo and Active Radius have even more coming down the pipeline soon and if this is any indication of what to expect the industry should keep an eye on them.  For a sneak peak at their initial offering visit
