March 22, 2011 - PRLog -- (St. Louis) - SBTV.com’s CEO, Susan Wilson Solovic, announced today the popular video news and information site for small business is rebranding itself as ItsYourBiz.com. In addition to a new name, the site has gone through a complete make-over including new site design, interactive areas, a small business community, productivity tools, national and local events calendar, and much, much more.    

“When we launched the company we wanted to define ourselves as television on the Internet because the entire idea of watching video on your computer was so new.  Today, video on the web has finally caught up with us and we realized we needed a name which is more descriptive of what we do -- provide credible, unbiased, news, information, advice, tools and resources to help small business owners and managers succeed. It’s Your Biz is all about America’s 29 million + entrepreneurs,” Solovic explained.      

Launched in 2004, SBTV.com was a pioneer in the video streaming industry and has enjoyed steady growth over the past seven years. It is the only media company producing a daily video news broadcast for the small business market. The company’s professionally produced content is not only available on www.itsyourbiz.com but also can be seen on hundreds of websites throughout the U.S. with the capacity to reach over 100 million viewers per month.  

“With the launch of the new site, we are excited to introduce a team of small business experts who are “best in class.”  They bring an exciting new enthusiasm to problem solving and sharing ideas with our audience,” Solovic explains.

In addition to the professionally produced content from small business experts and award-winning journalists, the site will also feature Your Biz Connects, a robust community for small business owners. “Who better to share information than other business owners and because we don’t have a product to sell, we can stay focused on providing the critical support and information small businesses need to succeed in today’s economy.  The only business we’re in is the information business,” Solovic adds.

Some things won’t change about the popular website.  It will still provide content based on particular business needs from process, pricing and promotion to management, financing, tax and legal tips.  Video will continue to be a significant focus, but content will be offered in a variety of mediums including blogs, podcasts and articles. You will find our content on a variety of platforms including mobile devices, web enabled TV sets and boxes and a new, multi-market, nation-wide radio program.  “If you can’t find It’s Your Biz then you just aren’t connected,” Solovic said.
