Follow on Google News | Shrewsbury International School Bangkok appoints new Vice-PrincipalShrewsbury International School Bangkok has announced the appointment of Mr Steven Allen as the new Vice-Principal (Head of Senior) to succeed Mr Gareth Enyon in August.
Mr Steven Allen will join the school from Ardingly College, an independent boarding and day school in Sussex, UK, where he is currently working as Academic Deputy. Prior to his appointment as Head of Physics and Science at Ardingly College, Mr Allen taught Physics at St Paul’s Girls’ School, London, where he was Examinations Officer. Mr Allen will arrive equipped with experience of the international school system, having spent four years in Hong Kong as Head of Year 10 at Sha Tin College. Mr Allen, a chartered physicist, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Sheffield University and a Master’s Degree in Education from King’s College, London; he will also complete his National Professional Qualification for Headship in April. Mr Allen will be joined in Bangkok by his wife, Claudine, an Investment Director. The current Vice-Principal, Mr Gareth Enyon, is leaving the school at the end of the academic year to take up his appointment as the Founding Headmaster of Epsom College, Malaysia.
