March 20, 2011 - PRLog -- DIYacu.com now hosts a free, interactive map of acupuncture points at http://www.diyacu.com. The map is located on the homepage and uses Deep-Zoom technology to enable the professional or layman to locate acupuncture or acupressure points at the skin or muscle level.

The map covers the 14 major meridians and miscellaneous body points, divided into the arm yin meridians (lung, heart, pericardium), arm yang meridians (sanjiao, large intestine, small intestine), leg yin meridians (kidney, liver, spleen), the leg yang meridians (bladder, gallbladder, stomach) and extra Du Mai and Ren Mai meridians. The layout is designed to be accessible to users without any prior knowledge of acupuncture points.

DIYacu.com is responding to the huge demand in the market for free, easily accessible information on acupuncture points and acupuncture treatments for use in self-acupuncture and community acupuncture.

The map is located at http://www.diyacu.com and is compatible with all major browsers without the need for external plugins.
