Overton RFC Unveil New Shirts With HugoFox.com

March 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Overton RFC continued with their 40 th anniversary celebrations on Saturday with a President's lunch for over 80 members and friends of the club, followed by two home league games.

Dave Brewerton, serving his final year as Club President, oversaw the lunchtime celebrations, with a fantastic meal laid on by the hardworking ladies in the kitchen. The first team's new shirts were unveiled, displaying the logo of HugoFox.com (http://www.hugofox.com), the new first team sponsors, and the club now concentrates on the final preparations for it's main 40th anniversary event, the international festival, on the weekend of 23 rd – 25 th April

The firsts played against Nomads and were holding them 17-17 until the last few minutes, but gave away a kickable penalty and Nomads snatched victory at the last gasp. The seconds played against Portsmouth 4ths and, having supplied two front row players and winger to ensure there were 15 a side, went on to win 15 – 5.
