Waste King Limited Supports British Heart Foundation

March 21, 2011 - PRLog -- The specialist waste and recycling management company, Waste King Limited, based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, has recently increased its charitable support by partnering with the British Heart Foundation.

Ruth Sheed the Manager for one of the largest shops in the South East, based in Romford, Essex, are now collecting unwanted items from Waste King by the truck-load to sell in their shops and raise money for research.  During the week commencing 14 March, Waste King recycled over 500 books which were donated.

The British Heart Foundation has given Waste King permission to use its logo to raise awareness of the charity and to identify items for donation.  The logo will feature on Waste Kings new website due to go live next month.

Managing Director, Glenn Currie, explained: “Waste King offer a number of waste and rubbish clearance services including from the house, garden, garage, loft and cellar.  As a result we are left with tonnes of unwanted customer items which are in perfectly good repair.  The British Heart Foundation is able to make use of these items which further enables us to increase recycling and divert from landfill, one of our major goals”.
