March 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Responding to the overwhelming demand by customers and private lenders as a paradigm shift takes place in the real estate financing sector, Realty Funding Partners (RFP), which specializes in commercial funding by private lenders with more than $400 billion available in allocations,  announced today the appointment of  Jams Boyd as the firm's new agent in the Washington, DC area.

James Boyd was born and raised in Chesapeake, VA.  Growing up James was a talented football and basketball player.  After being an all star in high school he earned a full athletic scholarship at The Pennsylvania State University.  James played from 1997-2001 for the Nittany Lions football team and was a 3 year letterman.  During his last two years he
was All Big Ten 1st Team Selection and a two year 1st Team All-American Selection.   Drafted in the third round by the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars in 2001, he played two years in Jacksonville, then his final year for the Cleveland Browns.

Explaining the paradigm shift, Dr. Elam stated that "Traditional lending sources have left the market and the residential real estate market has become very toxic and more and more difficult one in which to succeed."

Private lenders such as private equity firms and wealthy individuals, with billions of dollars to invest, are moving aggressively to fill the vacuum left by conventional lenders in funding projects in untapped commercial markets said Dr. Elam.

“Our goal is to become the largest net branch company in the industry.” said Dr. Elam. “We already have more than 30 branch offices throughout the nation and are on track to open up another 20-25 branches in the next  60 days. "

Mr. Boyd is excited about his new career in commercial real estate finance and the huge earning potential Realty Funding Partners has to offer. "The reason I chose to become an RFP Professional is because of their focus on bringing innovative private lending solutions to meet all types of financing needs.   I have access to the largest portfolio of private lending institutions and investor backed funding sources available," he said.   "I am eagerly looking forward to our opportunities in 2011," he added.

"We are delighted to have James Boyd join our company,"  said Neil Thompson, an RFP vice president.   "With his outstanding background, we believe James can significantly expand the RFP footprint in Washington, DC metropolitan area."

RFP is actively seeking clients who need commercial business and real estate funding as well as  seasoned executives and experienced professionals who are interested in opening and developing new markets as well as servicing a rapidly growing customer base on a local, regional, national and international scale.
