Leading International Telecom, Media and Finance Conference moves to Dubai
The organizers of the 5th annual TMT Finance and Investment Middle East 2011 conference and Awards Ceremony have announced that the event will move to the Ritz-Carlton at the Dubai International Financial Centre on May 9-10
Originally scheduled to take place in Bahrain, the conference, which is supported this year by Saudi Telecom Company as Main Event Sponsor, brings together the leadership of international telecom and media companies, financiers, investment bankers, lawyers and advisers to debate financing and investment strategy.
“We have an outstanding programme and speaker’s academy in place and we are excited to bring the event back to Dubai where we first launched in 2007,” commented Dominic Lowndes, managing director at BroadGroup TMT Ventures the event organizers. “Dubai has a strong financial, telecom and media community and we are making plans to extend the event.”

Highlights of the event include: The Global Telecom Strategy Round Table; M&A Advisers Panel; Leadership Strategies for Next Generation Business Models: The CFO Round Table; Infrastructure Sharing and Investment Panel – Strategies for Sale and Leaseback; Financing Growth – How, where and when to raise capital; The Media & Convergence Debate and Regulation and Broadband Middle East – Investing in Next Generation Networks.
