Pamela Wambach of Nova Scotia Tourism Earns IFWTWA Award of Excellence in Destination Marketing

March 16, 2011 - PRLog -- The International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association's (IFWTWA) Excellence Awards program recognizes the world's finest travel and tourism industry professionals as experienced by the organization's journalist members. Pamela Wambach of Nova Scotia Tourism, Culture and Heritage earned IFWTWA's Award of Excellence in Destination Marketing for her exemplary work in promoting the diverse aspects of the destination she represents.

According to the IFWTWA member journalist who nominated Ms. Wambach for recognition: “Pam is a delight to work with. She knows all about the history, culture and cuisine of Nova Scotia. And she loves and is very knowledgeable about the local wineries, vinters and the best vintage wine! She took great care of us as a group but also connected with each of the attendees on personal level. I don’t think I’ve ever had so much personal attention with the focus on me getting the stories I was assigned, and with some surprising angles and unique discoveries I never would have thought of.”

The award nomination was carefully evaluated and recommended by IFWTWA's Excellence Awards Committee and the award approved by IFWTWA's Board of Directors.
