Cherie D. Trahan was born in D.C., and raised in Fort Washington, Maryland. Even as a child, she loved being creative. Early on, Cherie won a drawing contest at the age of five, and received an Honorable Mention from a local radio station for a short-story writing contest as a freshman at Friendly High School. She graduated, Summa Cum Laude, with a BS in Business Administration (Management) from North Carolina A&T State University. Cherie is also a very proud mother as she now pursues her dream as an inspirational writer.

Instead of asking why certain things in life are happening to you, the question for readers becomes, what is God's purpose behind what is taking place and how is He using and orchestrating all things, the good and the bad, for you?  Each poem in this collection has been inspired by my own thoughts of reflection on some of God’s greatest orchestrations that I have personally witnessed and have experienced, through marveling at nature and based on true life events, as I believe all that exists and all that has taken place in my life has been on purpose with a purpose.  And with quite a story of how God has allowed and has turned my moments of trials and tribulations into seasons of miracle testimonies and triumphs, I now strongly desire to give back to others by sharing this collection of poetry that I pray will bless all -- no matter what age in life and no matter the stage of life.
