Melton Logistics, LLC Promotes Personnel to Key Positions

March 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Melton Logistics, LLC, a leading third party logistics and transportation services company, is pleased to announce the promotion of several key management positions in their Laredo, Texas office.  This is in direct response to the company’s continued growth.

Patty Hinojosa joined Melton Logistics in 2005 first as a Transportation Sales Representative and then as Business Development Manager.  Her promotion to Director of Logistics will entail business development, operations, and carrier/vendor management activities in their Laredo office.  “Under Patty’s leadership, we have seen our international business quadruple in size.  Patty’s experience in international business and account management along with her stellar people developmental skills have been the principal reason for our success,” said Kyle Gholston, Vice President of Melton Logistics.

Joining Melton Logistics in 2007 as an International Account Manager, Jesus Garza has been promoted to Senior International Account Manager.  In addition to developing new and existing business relationships, Jesus will train new Account Managers, and mentor sales team members.  “Jesus has been a key contributor in the growth of our international business.  His experience with the trade lanes between the U.S. and Mexico, as well as between Mexico and Canada allows him to offer our customers dependable, competitive, and hassle free solutions for their international transportation needs,” stated Kyle Gholston.  

Mauro Villarreal joined Melton Logistics in 2010 as an International Account Manager.  He has been promoted to Facility Manager.  Mauro is responsible for developing the distribution service business and managing the daily operations at Melton Logistics’ Distribution Center in Laredo, Texas.  “Since joining our team, Mauro has been instrumental in the development of international operations in Laredo.  He has played a key role in the development of our safety programs, cargo securement program, warehouse operations procedures development, and business development,” said Kyle Gholston.

In 2010, Gabriel Montero joined Melton Logistics as a Dispatcher.  He has been promoted to International Account Manager.  His responsibilities will include developing new business relationships, providing quotes and handling transportation requests from customers.  “Gabriel’s excellent negotiating skills and strong relationships with our carriers have made him an invaluable member of our team,” said Patty Hinojosa, Director of Logistics.
