Ignition Tutoring launches its AP test prep service to help students worldwide ace their AP exams

Using technology which enables tutors from top schools like Stanford and Harvard to connect immediately with students around the world, Ignition Tutoring is bringing video-chat-based tutoring to students around the globe in time for the AP exams.

March 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Today Ignition Tutoring launches its AP exam preparation service, IgnitionAP, to help students around the world prepare for the AP exams in May. Using technology built on Facebook's social graph at ignitiontutoring.com, Ignition Tutoring matches students with tutors who share their interests. Ignition then enables the student to connect immediately with his or her tutor over Skype.

"This is really going to help people pass their AP exams and save people a bunch of money on college tuition too," says Chris Frank, one of the founders of Ignition Tutoring. "By putting people who aced their AP exams just a few years ago in contact with current students hoping to achieve similar results, we can help all students see that success is possible if they work hard enough," says Frank who also says, "by connecting people who share similar interests, we make studying for AP exams fun because who wouldn't rather learn about linear equations in terms of xbox or skiing or whatever else they are interested in!"

With a passing grade on a single AP test saving parents up to $1,075 at a school such as Stanford where tuition is $37,800 per year, it's clear just how important AP exams can be. Moreover, a strong track record of good performance on AP exams often plays an important part in the college application process.
