Wilkus Architects Part of a Team Helping Big Lake Minnesota Improve Water Quality

March 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Wilkus Architects is proud to be part of an integrated design team providing design services for the improvements to the Big Lake Wastewater Treatment Facility, Big Lake, MN.  Bolton and Menk, Inc., which is a prominent environmental engineering firm, lead a comprehensive team that includes Wilkus as the project architect.  The project involved three elements.  A 3550 square foot pre-treatment building, a 1250 square foot lift building and a 22,600 square foot, two story, bio-processing building.  The bio-processing facility also includes a storage/maintenance garage and related services.
Construction is complete and all new facilities should be online in the spring of 2011.  Deerwood, MN based Rice Lake Construction Group provided General Contracting services.
