New Webinar, WRITE NOW! Helps Baby Boomers Write Their Stories

Personal historian and writing coach, Hella Buchheim, has helped people remember and record the stories of their lives for more than a decade.  Many of her clients were baby boomers who wanted to have their parents stories recorded for future generations. Write Now! is a series of classes created to  come to you via your computer to help these boomers record their own stories.

As boomers start reaching 65 they are starting to search for a means to give their life meaning and reflect on their own legacy. Memoir writing is one way for people to put a perspective on their life and clarity to their own choices. Buchheim published “Remembering…Life Story Triggers and Memory Essays” as a step-by-step guide to write a life story but many people requested a more active format and Write Now! is an answer to that request.

“I was sitting in on a webinar (web-based seminar, a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar) for business guidance and had the “dah” moment that every coach says is life changing. Instead of traveling all over town for writing classes and writing groups, I could design a class that would fit into anyone’s busy schedule and make it fun, Write Now! was born,” said Buchheim.

The classes are designed to:

The daughter of Holocaust survivors, Buchheim is passionate about recording life stories and preserving family histories. “Life stories and personal histories are unselfish gifts to the next generation. They pay it forward by looking back. This is a new way of teaching classes and it is very exciting to be bringing this concept to a larger group of people.
