From 13th to 17th April, the 45th incarnation of the prestigious Art Cologne event will once again be hosted at the Cologne Exhibit Centre.
March 14, 2011 - PRLog -- A stunning 200 international galleries are schedule to be represented. They will display the classic modern, post-war and contemporary fine art. The artwork will span the 20th and 21st centuries, offering insight into these time periods and the art that was – and is being – produced during them.

A day ticket to the event in €17.00, and a two day ticket costs €25.50. Tickets for just the evening (beginning at 5:00 pm) are €12.75, the same price as a reduced day ticket. The reduced day ticket is available for students, retirees, soldiers, handicapped persons and seniors.

Separate tickets are being sold which include the vernissage and catalogue at €42.50 and €30.00, respectively.  

The fair will aim to disseminate and sell works of modern art. However, it will also aim to display the breathtaking collections of galleries that have earned international recognition and prestige.  In the past, this event has attracted about 60,000 visitors. This upcoming year should prove just as popular.

Some of the exhibitors set to show at the event include Base, from Tokyo; Kalfayan, from Athens and Salonika; Barbara Gross, from Munich; Cologne local Brigitte Schenk; and Van Horn, from Dusseldorf, among many other distinguished exhibitors.
