March 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Tiffany Kennard is 31 years old and close to ten years ago she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Tiffany was recently interviewed by Ray Leonard the radio host of Ordinary People Extraordinary Planet. She shared with Ray her story of pain, joy and her passion for life.

Tiffany told Ray that she was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was on spring break of her senior year of college. She said, "I had to drop out of school and begin treatment." The treatment she was given included surgery, radiation, gamma knife and chemotherapy.

During her battle with cancer Tiffany decided to return to college and get her bachelor's degree. Tiffany also went onto complete her master's program to become a physical therapist. After completing her graduate studies, Tiffany was able to work for a short time as a therapist. But after six months of working she received another devistating blow. Tiffany received news that her doctors had discovered another brain tummor and a lesion on her spine.

After sharing her story with radio host, Ray Leonard they continued to talk for a few minutes more. Ray says, "I felt that I owed her something, something for taking the time to share her inspiring story." "So I asked Tiffany if she would accept my invitation to beginning blogging about her day to day life while she is battling cancer. Tiffany did accept my invitation and began her new blog called, Asymptomatic. I am so proud of Tiffany and I am proud to call her my friend"

In Tiffany's new blog she has shared with her followers that the treatment she is receiving now is more intense than ever. Because another brain tumor was discovered, She wrote that, "The past eight months have involved more intense treatment since the cancer cells moved to my spinal fluid and created a lesion on my spinal cord. I have had radiation to my spine and chemotherapy for both the original tumor and cancer cells in my spinal fluid. I also had a chest port put in, as well as a port that went into my brain. The head port had to be removed since a cyst developed near it and caused me to have double vision and seizures."

She continued to write, "Thankfully, those symptoms have gone away since the port was removed. Right now, I am having chemotherapy for my spinal fluid where I have to be admitted to the hospital for four days. I have one more to go, and then we’ll see if it worked to decide further treatment."

Tiffany's new blog Asymptomatic has introduced to the public that she is a real fighter and a true inspiration to those who follow her. For those who have been through a battle with cancer or knows someone who has Tiffany's blog might make a difference in your life.
