March 14, 2011, Great Falls, VA – ITEK Construction has hit the ground running in 2011 with a series of building contracts, two of them which are awarded by well-satisfied former clients.

“The Sonic Drive In” project in Midlotian, VA comes less than 18 months after ITEK has successfully completed similar Sonic Drive In ground-up construction projects in Richmond, VA and Randalstown, MD.

“This is yet another challenging project for us since we need to finish it before the end of March, 2011 which from start-to-finish gives us only 45 days to complete it,” said Ozzie Yazgan, ITEK’s hard-working President.

“Scope of the work includes demolishing an existing Pizza Hut, and new underground utility work. This building will have a split face block and EIFS exterior finish,” Yazgan added.

Corner Bakery is the second construction project ITEK is tackling in the new year.

“We are getting ready to start two new design-build projects for Corner Bakery Café in Chinatown, Washington DC and Germantown, MD,” Yazgan said.

The Corner Bakery Café Chinatown project will be a complete Union project.

Purcelville Fireman's Field Renovation of Purcelville, VA is yet another building project awarded to ITEK following a competitive bidding process, thanks to ITEK’s strong track record.

The Purcelville contract is worth over $1 million and will be completed in 7 months.

The fourth item on ITEK’s plate is the Red Lobster restaurant remodeling project in New Jersey.

“This is a 10,000 sq.ft. interior and exterior re-modeling job and it’s also Union,” Yazgan said and added: “We’ll finish it within 56 days.”
