Stellar Award Winning Gospel Artist Kurt Carr to Headline Cancer Benefit Concert at Lincoln Theatre
The American Cancer Society in will host a special gospel benefit concert to bring awareness to cancer in the African-American community at the Historic Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D. C. Sunday, March 13, 2011

This concert is being produced in partnership with NEWorks Productions, an exciting new company founded in recent years by the noted musician Nolan Williams. Williams has been at the helm of exceptional inspirational arts programming through NEWorks, most recently as the artistic consultant for Joyful Sounds: Gospel Across America at The Kennedy Center. "Our goal is to use the power of music and the support of major artists and celebrities to draw needed attention to the cancer crisis in our community." said Williams.
