Professional Association Management Advice

March 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Atlanta, Georgia – If you are a member of an Atlanta homeowners association or condominium association and your Board is not working together as a team, it may be time to focus on the personalities and performance of your Board members.  A professional association management company, also known as a community management company or property management company, may be your best line of defense to remedy an ineffective Board.

What to Do If Board Members are not Attending Meetings. Find out the reason for the non-attendance of fellow board members in your Atlanta homeowners association or condominium association board meetings and have your professional association management company help you to speak frankly with the Board members who are hindering the Board’s progress.   If a Board member has a personal or work issue that is temporarily absorbing much of their time and energy, your Atlanta property management company and community manager could suggest that the board member take a break from being on the board of directors for the association for an agreed period such as 3 months.  If the board member is busy or has too many competing obligations, your Atlanta professional association management company could pull the Board member aside and suggest that it may be time to step down.

If You Have a Board Member Who Has Hidden Agenda. If Your Board Cannot Play Nicely. If your Board meetings are so unfriendly and rancorous that  members do not want to be part of it, your Board may need input from your Atlanta professional property management company and community manager to address their particular issues.
You may need to ask for the resignation of one or more Board members who are causing a problem.
