"Business Continuity Awareness Week is one of the most important events in the BCM calendar," said Isobel Nicholas, Director of Communications for Steelhenge. "We participated in last year's event, and are delighted to be part of it again this year, especially with such an impressive line-up of events." The 2011 event includes global webcasts of live seminars in which viewers can ask questions, new forums for industry discussion and debate, the presentation of new research and many other benefits for members of the business continuity industry. This year's event also has a groundbreaking online incident simulation game to test a team's crisis management skills, enabling them to compete with organisations across the world.
During BCAW, Steelhenge's social media expert Drew Gibson will speak at a London BCI Forum event on how to utilise social media as part of the crisis response and other staff are contributing to scheduled events. "Whether new to Business Continuity or an active player, BCAW provides an excellent opportunity to learn, share knowledge and understand the benefits of business continuity management."
