Check out the new RnB and electro sounds to come out of Sydney’s hottest new act, Chris Melotti, who has now signed up to Blue Pie Records. Motivated, down to earth, and musically gifted are only some words to describe his art and the songs that he produces.

This 23-year-old artist has been writing countless songs for the past couple of years, each crafted with layers of sophisticated rhythms and instrumentation. However, it is through his lyrics that he loves to express himself most: “I like to write songs that are meaningful…” This thus shows his penchant for story-telling and narrative in his songs which are enhanced by his intricate melodies and captivating harmonies.

Having released his debut album in 2010 “Post Maturity Revival” he is set to produce new and exciting music with Blue Pie Records this year. Chris’ music style is diverse and covers a range of emotions. “I don’t write different styles and ways on purpose – it is dependent on the story I want to tell, the mood I am in at the time, what inspiration I am experiencing and so forth. It’s funny because although each song has its own direction and feeling, you can still tell that they share characteristics of how I write.”
