In 2008 was developed the Solar Wind green technology, powered by solar cells for a reduced environmental pollution: the elevator is powered by a battery pack, constantly charged by a cheap solar panel; in case the solar power is not enough to keep batteries charged, the elevator is powered by the common domestical electrical power supply, thus allowing a continuous service.

Recently has been implemented a new version of the Solar Wind, optimized to save space and power consumption, and increase energy efficiency.
