Local Artist to Display Work at Salus Chiropractic Studio

March 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Longtime Chester County artist, Greg Layton, will display some his latest collection of drawings at the "Intense Logic" exhibit at Salus Chiropractic Studio.  The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday March 12, from 2 to 5PM.  

   Layton is included in the just  published and exquisite new book "100 Artists of the Brandywine Valley," by Chester County journalist/author Catherine Quillman.  Until recently, Quillman was a longtime reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer.  "It's an honor to be included in this book with Deb, we're the only couple in there," said Layton.  Layton has been creating  his fantastic realism artwork for 40 years and his recent work should be an eyeful for everyone at this exhibit!

  In addition to his recent work, Layton and his longtime partner Deb have worked to create community and commerce through their non-profit organization, the Coatesville Area Art Alliance (C3A).  "Art is good for business because it brings people together," commented Layton.  "It's soul food!"

 This is the second time that Layton has display his Fantastic Realism at Salus Chiropractic Studio.  Together with Dr. Matthew Lapp, Greg and Deb hope to expose members of the community to different local artists and styles of art in the hopes that people will enjoy it, ask questions, and experience something new.  The reception is open to the public and free of charge.  All of Greg's work will be available for sale.
