RCS launches integrated leak detection and energy monitoring units for Eden controller range

March 9, 2011 - PRLog -- RCS Energy Management has launched two new modules for its Eden controller range, delivering simplified and cost-effective leak detection and energy monitoring for commercial refrigeration systems.

The integrated leak detection and power monitoring modules offer the same functionality as traditional stand-alone units, but with significant advantages in terms of the cost of installation, servicing and initial capital expenditure.

The leak detection module can be supplied with either an integral or remote location sensor, is available to monitor all refrigerant types including C02, and employs the latest sensor technology,

The integrated unit ensures leak detection parameters and data-logs are available via the same network as the traditional refrigeration control parameters – removing the requirement for a dedicated leak detection supervisory system.

Similarly, the integrated energy monitoring module removes the requirement for costly installation of remote CT’s and the associated wiring, by providing individual display case / cold-room power monitoring featuring all relevant values available across the existing communications network.

The new leak detection and energy monitoring modules are available for both the Eden E evaporator controller and the Eden P compressor and condenser controller range.
