March 8, 2011 - PRLog -- After affiliating itself with a Mexican printer earlier this year for the development of its business in Latin America, i-nova, a  manufacturer of promotional items best known for its high precision mousepads and repositionable stickers, has just started the commercialization of its latest mousepad, the 20/20 Pro, towards promotional items distributors in Europe.

This decision was made to test the European market by using its most popular mousepad sold in North America, the 20/20 Pro, a mousepad with an extreme depth effect. This product, which came onto the North American market last year, has revolutionized the mousepad industry by bringing it a sense of “renouveau”.

The first countries i-nova is aiming at are:  Germany, UK, Portugal, Spain and Turkey; markets that are very different from one another so that they can really get a good picture of the whole. The first marketing campaign was started last week and will be completed throughout this week.

Already a few German and Spanish distributors have requested to know more about the product and samples will soon leave North America for Europe. If contracts were to come out of early interests, they would be produced in Montreal, Canada where i-nova’s main manufacturing plant is located.

The long term strategy is to collaborate with a printer in Europe to produce the mousepads (as well as their other promotional products) directly in Europe. This test will help i-nova to determine the right pricing in order to be competitive in this market. Negotiations have been undertaken with four (4) different printers in Europe (in Spain and Poland) and they hope to start producing with one of them before fall 2011.

Negotiations are also still undergoing with an Australian printer in order to start production for Australia, New Zealand and the region shortly. The project  is more advanced than in Europe as
i-nova has already chosen its printer an they are currently working on pricing in order to be competitive on that particular market. i-nova hopes to announce its partnership before the end of April this year.
