March 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Over 100 golfers, including 84 amateurs and 25 professionals showed up for the Monday, February 21 all day extravaganza.

Although every participant was considered a winner for supporting such a good cause, the winning team on the record and course was Chuck Kubicki, Sean Kelly, Shugo, Nick Torrance, and professional golfer, Casey Wittenberg. Each winning team member received a gift certificate to return for a complimentary game with a guest at The Ritz-Carlton Members Club. Additional prizes and takeaways included over a dozen Tampa Bay Devil Rays tickets, cash prizes, and Bettinardi golf clubs.

Junior Achievement will use the funds raised to continue delivering educational programs emphasizing work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy to high school students in Manatee and Sarasota Counties.

“This event would not have been possible without our longstanding Event Chair, Mr. Craig Campbell, and the support of the professional golfers and our sponsors; DuPage Machine Products, Sun Hydraulics, Swiss Automation, Inc., The Ritz-Carlton Members Club, West Florida Golf Tour, Holland Construction, and Baird,” commented Maggie Haley, executive director of Junior Achievement Manatee/Sarasota. “We’re already looking forward to our 10th Annual Invitational in February 2012, again at The Ritz-Carlton Members Club in Lakewood Ranch.”
