By: Helene Segura CPO® Helene Segura teamed up with Goodwill San Antonio for a Clear the Clutter donation drive. Anyone who donated clothing, housewares, electronics or furniture to Goodwill was eligible to enter into a drawing for one of three $500 organizing packages from LivingOrder® San Antonio television station KABB Fox 29 co-sponsored the drive. Segura appeared with KABB Fox 29 meteorologist Shaun Stevens and Goodwill Director of Marketing Penny Benavidez on location at the Goodwill Bitters/281 location, where they discussed how Goodwill's community-helping programs are funded by donors who are getting organized and clearing their homes of clutter. As a part of the donation drive promotion, Segura spent time with KABB morning anchor Monica Taylor and organized her pantry. Taylor aired clips of the organizing process while reminding viewers to help their fellow San Antonio community members by taking their unwanted items to Goodwill. Goodwill is helping to change lives through the power of work. Each year, Goodwill provides employment services to nearly 50,000 San Antonio-area individuals who face employment challenges.
