Another Successful Moanaboutmen Meetup

March 7, 2011 - PRLog -- www.moanaboutmen.com are happy to report the success of their latest Mashup in Stafford Asda Cafe.  Sue and Angie met with around 50 other women in the cafe on Saturday afternoon for what was billed as a "Free Coffee and a bit of Me Time!"

Sue said "It was great - we had a lovely afternoon.  All sorts of women turned up.  There was a lady from South Africa who was over in Stafford visiting her sister for 12 months - her sister was away and she fancied a bit of company."

There was also a lady who had done keep fit and nothing to do with the rest of her Saturday so she dropped in.

Then the one that touched  me - a lady whose husband had Alzheimers and life was very difficult She told me the meetup had come at the right time and we watched her husband to make sure that he didnt wander off while she chatted, ate cake and had her nails painted.


Angie continued "There is such a need for a meetup like this. Women who meet online can have a bit of human contact by coming to join in our meetings. It is difficult for a woman  o go out alone but meeting in Asda Cafe takes that daunting feeling away.  We hope to extend this out to different parts of the country with the help of our members and the loan of Asda Cafes!"

Sue added "I agree with Angie.  we started www.moanaboutmen.com for a bit of fun after a few glasses of wine, but we are so proud of our achievements.  Women have made real friends on the site and have met up with eachother and some have been on holiday together. I feel happy that we have been able to do this for people and I hope that the site grows and we can help a lot more people make friends.  The beauty of the website is that between meetups, women can come back online and chat together until the next coffee morning - perfect!"
